Elemis Skincare

My Elemis skincare package came in today!  Elemis is known all over the world for exceptional skin care products.  Elemis can be found in many spas, hotels, cruise ships and boutiques; including many Ritz-Carlton properties.  For years estheticians have promoted this brand as being a wonderful choice for acne, sensitive skin and wrinkle prone clientele.

L-R- Elemis Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser ($47.00) and Soothing Apricot Toner ($33.00).  Both items available on http://www.timetospa.com/

I have wanted the Elemis Soothing Apricot toner for some time now.  I haven't used a toner in years and based on the reviews I read, I knew that this toner was the one to try.  A lot of fans stated that it left their skin soft and was gentle to use.  Aside from the toner I was also interested in purchasing a cleanser.  I chose the Pro- Radiance Cream Cleanser.  This cleanser is mentioned to not only dissolve dirt and oil but moisturize deeply.  The Pro Radiance cream cleanser is also full of anti-oxidants.  Elemis is currently available online to purchase at http://www.timetospa.com/ and is having a promotion where you can get both items (cleanser & toner) for $47.00!

The Soothing Apricot toner smells of you guessed it...apricots.  The scent is very soft.  The toner comes in a plastic bottle with about 200ml (almost 7 ounces) of product.  The bottle does have a pump spray which helps reduce product waste.

The Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser (150ml) has a barely noticeable scent and the pump is easy to use.  You can apply the cleanser to dry skin, rub it in and leave on the face for 1 minute.  Afterwards, take a warm, moist washcloth and remove the cleanser.  You would then follow this step by using the Soothing Apricot toner.

Elemis' website was easy to use and had super-fast shipping.  I ordered my products on 3/4/11 and they were here on 3/7/11.  As an extra bonus I was able to choose 4 free samples which are pictured below.

L-R- S.O.S Emergency Cream, Post Shave Recovery Mask, Daily Redness Relief and Herbal Lavender Repair Mask.

I did use the cleanser and toner this evening and so far, so good.  Once I am able to use the Elemis products for a few weeks, I plan to do a full review.  I will also lend my husband the sample of the Post Shave Recovery Mask since his skin flares up after shaving.  Hopefully his experience will go well and I can include his opinions in the review.

  1. Hi KJ,
I'm a long time Elemis lover-turned-esthetician. I recently heard that The Ritz was carrying Elemis in their spas and just googled to check it out. This is how I found your site. You will LOVE Elemis. Realizing how much I enjoyed learning about how the products affect the skin, I decided to change careers (at age 39) and become an esthetician! I can echo your dislike of fake people, onions, rudeness and wire hangers. I also share your appreciations... except for the "good tan". As an esthetician I must insist you go for a good spray tan! Enjoy your Elemis!!

  2. Hi Debbie!
Thanks for the comment. So far I really have enjoyed the Elemis products. My mother's friend, who happens to be an esthetician as well, speaks highly of the line. The toner I feel has been the best out of the two so far. I am wanting to try a good eye cream, so send me a recommendation if you've tried one that you like. Oh and I agree about the tan-spray all the way!
